Elio Altare Barbera d'Alba - 2023

Elio Altare's Barbera d'Alba is a modern and vibrant expression of one of the Langhe's most beloved grape varieties, interpreted by one of the leading figures of the Piedmontese oenological revolution. The 2023 vintage, a cool year of great balance, yields a wine with a vivid ruby color and aromas of cherry, plum, violet, and a hint of sweet spice imparted by the wood. On the palate, it is juicy and fresh, with the typical acidity of Barbera that makes it versatile and highly enjoyable.
