When people say something is brewing, it's usually good news. Especially when it involves three Alta Langa DOCG Metodo Classico wines.

This box brings together three interpretations of Piedmont's great sparkling wines: Cocchi's Chardonnay, the elegance of Monsignore, and the character of Marziano Abbona's Extra Brut. Three bottles to uncork for an aperitif that lingers, an impromptu dinner, or a table full of good things.

Our advice? Chill them, prepare something to eat, and let the glasses do the talking.

1. Alta Langa Brut BIANC 'D BIANC DOCG COCCHI

The finesse of Chardonnay.

Denomination: Alta Langa DOCG

Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay

Vintage: 2019

Method: Classic

Aging: about 5 years on the lees

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C

A pure Chardonnay that focuses on precision, freshness, and complexity. The nose alternates between citrus, white peach, delicate flowers, and notes of yeast and bread crust. The palate is taut and refined, with great energy and a persistence that invites a second glass.

2. Monsignore Extra Brut 2021

The most enveloping side of Alta Langa.

Denomination: Alta Langa DOCG

Grape Varieties: Pinot Nero and Chardonnay

Vintage: 2021

Method: Classic, with fermentation in oak barrels

Aging: about 36 months on the lees

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C

An Extra Brut that combines freshness and structure. The bouquet recalls apple, ripe white fruit, and flowers, with nuances of pastry and a delicate hint of oak. On the palate, it is creamy and persistent, yet retains a lovely tension: a sparkling wine that isn't limited to the aperitif and is perfectly suited for the table.

3. Marziano Abbona Extra Brut 2022

Character, freshness, and a craving for food.

Denomination: Alta Langa DOCG

Grape Varieties: 65% Pinot Nero, 35% Chardonnay

Vintage: 2022

Method: Classic

Aging: over 30 months on the lees

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C

Here, the Pinot Nero provides structure and personality, while the Chardonnay contributes to the freshness. The aromatic profile recalls citrus, small berries, flowers, and bread crust. The palate is decisive yet balanced, with fine bubbles, a nice acidic drive, and a savory, persistent finish.

Box contents: 3 bottles of 750 ml.
