Matteo Correggia is the name that forever changed the world's perception of Roero. His pioneering vision, carried forward today with the same dedication by his family, has transformed this territory into one of the most interesting appellations in Piedmont. The Roero DOCG is the winery's signature wine: pure Nebbiolo grown on sandy and tuffaceous soils, which give the wine extraordinary finesse and complexity.

The 2020 opens with a garnet ruby of great elegance. The nose is intense and articulate: dried rose, cherry in spirits, sweet tobacco, licorice, and a balsamic touch that expands its breadth. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with mature, silky tannins, well-calibrated acidity, and a very long, mineral finish. A great Nebbiolo, for meditation or paired with substantial red meats and game.
