Barolo Bussia Cicala 2019 – Poderi Aldo Conterno

The Barolo Bussia Cicala is one of the noblest expressions of Poderi Aldo Conterno, a benchmark estate in Monforte d'Alba. Cicala is one of the historic parcels of the great Bussia cru, featuring compact Helvetian soils that give the Nebbiolo structure, power, and extraordinary longevity. The 2019 vintage, a year of great quality in the Langhe, offers a wine of rare complexity: aromas of withered rose, wild berries, tobacco, licorice, and oriental spices; on the palate, it is majestic, with dense yet silky tannins and an endless finish.
