Cornarea Roero Arneis - 2025
The Azienda Agricola Cornarea Roero Arneis is a refined white wine made from 100% Arneis grapes. On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of white flowers, pear, pineapple, and passion fruit, which are also found on the palate. The entry is creamy and harmonious, with a rich and very fresh finish.
Climate and Soil
The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 280 meters, on a subsoil of sand and clay rich in magnesium, with east, southeast, northeast, and west exposures.
Vinification
The harvest is carried out entirely by hand. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by aging on the lees ("sur lie").
Aroma and Taste
Delicate aromas of white flowers, pear, pineapple, and passion fruit emerge on the nose. These aromas are also found on the palate, which is full, creamy, and well-balanced.
Serving Suggestion
Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well with both hot and cold appetizers, flavorful first courses such as risottos, pasta with pesto or mushrooms. It is also ideal with seasonal cheeses, white meats, and seafood.
Did You Know?
In the 1970s, Piero and Francesca were among the pioneers in replanting the Arneis grape, which was then nearly extinct in the Roero area. Today, their children Gian Nicola and Pierfranco carry on the tradition, always aiming for the highest quality.
