Fiano di Avellino DOCG 2025 - Mastroberardino
Mastroberardino's Fiano di Avellino is crafted from 100% Fiano grapes grown in southeast-facing vineyards on medium-textured soil at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. The manual harvest takes place in the first ten days of October with a yield of about 70 quintals per hectare. White vinification proceeds in stainless steel tanks for about 20 days at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. The aging process is completed with a few months in stainless steel and in the bottle.
Fiano is a grape variety with ancient roots: since Roman times, it was known as Vitis Apiana, prized for the sweetness that made it particularly attractive to bees.
