Pinot Grigio Gris Lis Neris - 2022

Gris is the most intimate expression of Lis Neris's Pinot Grigio: a single vineyard in San Lorenzo, not far from the sea, cool and breezy, with vines planted about 30 years ago. The roots sink into deeply calcareous soil that gives the wine a distinctive and persistent minerality.

Fermentation begins in stainless steel and is completed in 500-liter French oak barrels, where the wine rests for 11 months on the fine lees. This long aging process amplifies the aromatic complexity without altering the varietal character: the nose reveals notes of ripe fruit, white flowers, and an elegant spicy touch; on the palate, it is full and creamy, with a long, mineral finish.
