Sauvignon Blanc “Picol” Lis Neris DOC 2022

Picol is Lis Neris' answer to the great Sauvignon Blanc tradition: not the way of the Loire nor that of Bordeaux, but a third path that is entirely Friulian. The right bank of the Isonzo, with its warm, stony soils, Balkan winds, and Mediterranean influences, creates the ideal conditions for a Sauvignon of superior structure and rare elegance.

After the harvest, the wine ages in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being released on the market. The result is a white wine of great personality: on the nose, it expresses varietal notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and white flowers with a refined herbaceous touch; on the palate, it is full, savory, with vibrant freshness and a long, mineral finish.
